Due to a shortage of information regarding load shedding in South Africa the Shed Off app was created to help people share information and get information regarding load shedding. If you are experiencing load shedding, open the app and pin your location. If you get to traffic lights that are out due to loadshedding you can pin it as well. the pinned locations stay lice for 4 hours. You can also see where other users have dropped pins to indicate affected areas.
